At Braley-Price custom log homes we custom craft each of our homes the way our forefathers did, one log at a time, custom fit for your home.  We don’t use manufactured kits, cut hundreds of miles away and shipped with the hopes of a decent fit.  Our logs are milled in Nebo, NC to exacting standards, using whatever profile you choose.  We have them shipped to us in various lengths for final grade, cut, and “on-site fit.

Everybody has their own idea of what a log home should look like; this is why we offer a variety of log profiles.  From the popular 6” x 8” “D” log, to the 6” x 12” “hi-stack logs and several other profiles.  We have the logs and look that you want.
 
Our deep double tongue and groove logs are milled to close tolerances for a snug fit, eliminating the need for foam sealing tape that will eventually deteriorate and become potential air leaks.  Our site built dove tail corners add structural strength and a classic log home appearance. 
 
We use a “T-Jamb” system at all of our door and window openings, which seals your log home from the elements and adds additional structural integrity.  We use a wall starter column system on the inside to start all our interior walls. This adds additional strength to an already ruggedly built home.
